DURATION FOR MBBS IN EGYPT 2020

The duration is 7 years (5 + 2 years Internship) to practice as a doctor in Egypt

The duration is 6 years (5 + 1-year Internship) to practice as a doctor in India.

The duration for MBBS in Egypt is 7 years including 2 years of practical internship in hospitals if you want to practice as a doctor in Egypt. The duration for MBBS in Egypt will be 6 years (5 + 1 Year Internship) if you want to practice as a doctor in India. In the statement issued by the Egyptian Government, the batch starting from 2018-2019 will have to undergo 2 years of practical training after 5 years of a medical study. As per the regulation issued by the Government of Egypt the student has to complete 5 years of undergraduate study of medicine and 2 years of practical training after which the students must qualify for an examination that will determine their potential as professional doctors. Though Indian students can complete their 1-year internship in India also. For Indian students to check the potential as a professional doctor the separate NEXT exam will be conducted.
